An analysis about urban creativity in Qazvin (Case study: Triple regions of Qazvin)

Creative city is a house for art creativities, scientific and technological innovations and clear voice of developing cultures; the city which fulfills all its creative potentials and is the pioneer of cultural and developmental activities. Qazvin is among the prone cities that doesn’t have a far distance to its prosperity of creativity. Therefore, this research tries to analyze the indicators of creative city in triple region of Qazvin by the 4 proposed hypotheses in the research using descriptive-analytical method and benefiting from secondary data, preparing questionnaire of citizens, Topsis model, AHP model and Spss software. From the obtained results, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis that was based on the principle that creativity results in triple regions are different to each other is confirmed using the performed test of proposed hypothesis. The second hypothesis measured the correlation between urban creativity and open and collective spaces via Spearman test and was confirmed with a high weight. The third hypothesis that the regions with more open and collective space have better situation in terms of urban creativity is confirmed using the data of first hypothesis and the field data obtained from chapter 4. Finally, in the fourth hypothesis that Qazvin city has moved towards more adaptation with the criteria of creative city during the last few years, the significance of the hypothesis can be rejected using the obtained results by Topsis technique. Finally, among the four proposed hypotheses, 3 are confirmed and 1 is rejected. With regard to the performed analyses, Qazvin has the necessary potential for moving towards a creative city.
